Information: Enhanced Provision

On a Monday and Tuesday afternoon we carry out bit more structured classes  for children that are going to school. This helps to develop communication, language and literacy and problem solving, reasoning and numeracy such as early mark making, letters and sounds. We do sorting, matching and basic shape and number activities. On a Friday afternoon we hold a gym club, this is an additional activity this helps the children to gain physical skills as balancing, dance, and ball control.

We go on various walks to the local library, post box and Doffcocker lodge. We also have regular visitors that come into playschool to give the children an insight of the job they do on a day to day basis.
